Choosing persuasive arguments for action: A technical report
We present a dialogue system that allows agents to exchange arguments in order to come to an agreement on how to act. When selecting arguments to assert, an agent uses a model of what is important to the recipient agent. The system lets the agents agree to an action that each finds acceptable, but does not necessarily demand that they resolve their differing preferences. We present an analysis of the behaviour of our system and develop a mechanism with which an agent can develop a model of another’s preferences.[Full Paper]
