This was a multidisciplinary workshop whose aim was to encourage the free flow of ideas between researchers in different disciplines who are actively researching visual representations & interpretations. A book, Visual Representations and Interpretations (Eds Ray Paton & Irene Neilson), will be published by Springer-Verlag, January 1999. ISBN 1-85233-082-1
