Abstract

Population protocols is a computing model in which we have a population of agents that need to collectively solve a task.
In this talk I will give a brief introduction to population protocols and discuss solutions to the problem of rumour spreading and its variant.
The presentation will be not technical and no prior knowledge of the area is required.
