SUMMARY:Applied Advanced Cryptography Series
DESCRIPTION:Maryam Almarwani : Release-Aware In-Out Encryption Adjustment Policy\n\nAbstract:  Release-Aware In-Out Encryption Adjustment is an optimization technique for querying outsourced encrypted document databases. It is based on onion encryption concept, applying property-based (order-preserving /deterministic) encryption to protect the documents in  MongoDB. This technique's specific objective is to study further the case of removing\restoring protection before\after the execution of a query to minimize information leakage. This technique provides better data protection, as it exposes fewer values at the lower protection levels than existing  alternatives.\n\nThis talk  is based on the paper to be presented at ICISSP 2021 conference (http://www.icissp.org/). \n\n\n\nhttps://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/research/seminars/abstract.php?id=977
