MINUTES OF FIRST PRELIMINARY LMC MEETING

  1. Present: Nigel Kirkwood, Frans Coenen, Martin Beer.
  2. Recruitment: Arrangements for associate recruitment agreed. Adverts on WWW and in Guardian. MB to act as the "recruiting officer" as defined in University guidelines. MB also to approach promising M.Sc students currently on department's conversion course. FC to draw up first draft of Advert.
  3. Project Name: Project to be identified as the PETER project (Plant and Equipment Tracking and Effective Retrieval).
  4. WWW Project page: FC to commence creation of a suite of project WWW pages. NK to provide additional information for WWW pages.
  5. Next Meeting: 10 August 1999, 15:00, MB's office.
