Hearing Miles Davis for the first time. I heard "It Never Entered My
Mind" on the radio and was completely and utterly mesmerised.
I went to Circle Records to try and buy the album.
It was out of stock ; it did eventually arrived ... two years later.
Mike, the owner of Circle Records, will remember this episode well -
I was in his shop every week enquiring if the album had been delivered.
When it wasn't in, I'd console myself by buying another Jazz album -
it was at this time I began to seriously listen to Jazz.

each line of the poem is a song title played by Miles on one of his albums.
(Note that the few words in italics are not part of the song title
but included for continuity)
