Study Abroad at XJTLU in China

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is a new university run in partnership between the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. It's located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, China.
Our students on the programmes G400/G403 and G700/G701 have the opportunity to study one year (year 2) in XJTLU.

What James said Information Application

James Trever, a year 2 G400 Computer Science student, is currently studying at XJTLU. Here's what he said:

XJTLU and China is a completely new and amazing experience. It is completely different to what you expect but in a good way. The Chinese students and general people you meet here are excited to meet westerners and love western friends. Everything here to buy is cheap and its surprising how far money will go. The food is great and there is lots of new things to try but there are plenty of western places to eat if you get bored or just miss your own food. (Subway, mcdonalds, pizza, kfc etc) XJTLU is a great new university and the lectures are just the same as back home so there is nothing to worry about there. There is plenty of great places to see here and Shanghai is 20 minutes away on the train which costs £4. There is a big community of foreign people here who are in the same situation as you will be so you can have western and eastern friends. I would definitely recommend doing this as not only is it a great thing to say you have done but is really fun and a completely new experience. You will not regret it.
