Abstract

User names and passwords for authentication is an abuse of users and the internet – why do we have to deal with such an archaic method of authentication?

Introducing SQRL, Secure Quick Reliable Login (SQRL) - A simple open-source – provably secure – Pseudonymous, 2 party, web domain-based, authenticated identity solution, with identity lifecycle management. Using Dan Bernstein's highly efficient and carefully designed Curve25519 elliptic curve cryptosystem. Can usernames become an ancient relic?
